About Me
Professionally:
My first career was in the financial services with a fortune 500 company. I had a longstanding goal to manage my own business, so I opened my own firm, managed it for many years, and then sold it to fund my next goal. Along the way, I was fortunate to work with several outstanding therapists who helped me better understand myself and then both et and accomplish my many goals. My own therapy sparked my passion for psychotherapy which eventually lead to my setting the goal to earn my doctorate degree and become a licensed clinical psychologist. For me, it is a privilege and an honor to use both my life experience and my clinical training to help people overcome life’s many challenges and live their best lives, whether that is striving to maximize their potential, or just enjoying a peaceful work life balance with their loved ones.
Personally:
I grew up in the Midwest, started my career on the East Coast, and for the last 25 years have settled in California. I am a major boating enthusiast, both power and sailboats. I have done extensive blue water cruising throughout the Caribbean and on the West Coast from Vancouver to Mexico. In addition to meeting with clients in my Beverly Hills office, I frequently conduct therapy over confidential video conferencing from my current boat in Los Angeles.
